BLOG #4: FINAL PITCH DECK & GEE 16 LECTURE SERIES

Entrepreneurial Mind Journey

First and foremost, I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude and admiration for the Final Pitch Deck's success. It was a joyful and proud moment, made possible by our team members' outstanding effort and dedication. I cannot overstate the importance of our outstanding Instructor, Ma'am Shigella, who was there for us every step of the way, providing valuable knowledge and constant encouragement during our Entrepreneurial Mind Journey.

CMUGo, our creative product/service, took us on an exciting journey of emotions and challenges from the first stages of brainstorming to the final presentation. Looking back, it was an evolving event that taught us important lessons about patience, creativity, and teamwork. The process of developing CMUGo was like a roller coaster ride, with ups and downs, but it was all worthwhile to see our idea come to reality and have a positive impact.

This moment stands out as a really humbling and memorable milestone in my undergraduate career, one that I will cherish for years to come. The camaraderie, the shared victories and difficulties, and the sense of accomplishment are all memories I will treasure and carry with me as I continue to develop and learn on my academic and entrepreneurial experiences.

I greatly benefit from our lecture series, where we have the opportunity to hear the ideas provided by four prominent guest lecturers in the field of business. One of them is Dr. Gamaliela A. Dumancas, whose presentation sheds light on the importance of Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Transfer. Understanding our intellectual property rights and becoming acquainted with the basic rules that govern them is critical to our progress. Another speaker, Ms. Keren Happuch A. Lacadin, discusses the Start-Up Ecosystem, a project focused at improving our ecosystem, which is extremely valuable to us as students interested in business. Furthermore, Ms. Glyrhiz Marhiel A. Tabamo's presentation sheds light on the complexities of the Incubation Program and the numerous potential customers it provides. Finally, Mr. John Ryan Loyloy shares vital insights on the challenges and accomplishments of the Start-Up Journey, emphasizing the inherent risks and difficult decisions that come with entering the business sector. Their different perspectives and expertise enrich our learning experience while also preparing us for any future career in entrepreneurship.

To summarize, the process of launching a start-up project can seem appear simple at first. However, as we progress through the detailed step-by-step process, unanticipated problems may develop along the way. Regardless of the challenges encountered, the final satisfaction of successfully starting a start-up project makes the entire experience worthwhile but definitely difficult.

Reflecting on my brightening experience in GEE 16 - Entrepreneurial Mind, it is clear that this course has left an unforgettable impression, providing essential insights into all aspects of starting a business enterprise. I am deeply grateful to you, my reader, for supporting me on this interesting journey. I hope that my account has presented an entertaining and fascinating take on this subject. Angel R. Sombilon now signing off 🩷.
